Installs each PACKAGE.
Dependencies resolved for a project are recorded in a `v.mod.lock` file next
to its `v.mod`.

Usage:
  v install [PACKAGE...]

If no PACKAGEs, the packages listed in the `v.mod` file are installed instead.

Options:
  --vpm [Default] Install from vpm
--git Install from git repository url
--hg Install from mercurial repository url
--help, -h Prints the help menu
--once Only install the package if it was not previously installed
--locked Fail rather than resolve a dependency differently from the
project's `v.mod.lock`. Only applies to project installs.
--local, -l Install into the project's own module lookup root, i.e. the folder
holding its `v.mod`, instead of into VMODULES.
--adopt With `--local`, record the named modules as installed by VPM,
without installing anything. For packages an older V installed
into the project's `modules/` directory, which VPM cannot tell
apart from modules the project keeps itself.
-v Print more details about the performed operation.
-m, --mirror Adds a fallback vpm mirror for package metadata and download count requests.
Can be given multiple times. Official vpm servers are still tried first.
-server-url When doing network operations, use this vpm server.
               Can be given multiple times.

Version ranges such as 'vsl@^0.1.47' select tags satisfying all requirements,
backtracking across releases when necessary. Failed resolution reports the
requirement chains before changing installed modules. --locked uses recorded
commits only; --frozen also prevents writing v.mod.lock.

Release policy for ranged selections:
--exclude-newer DATE Exclude tags committed after RFC3339 or YYYY-MM-DD (UTC).
--minimum-release-age AGE Exclude tags newer than AGE hours, or a d/h/m duration.
