On Windows, exec in runruby.rb spawns the worker as another process and waits for it, so killing the launched pid left the worker running with the inherited stderr open, and GitHub Actions waited on it until the step timed out. The worker now reports its own pid, which is also the process the debugger should dump. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
