Emmanuel Blot 9748c85833 hw/sensor: tmp105: add TMP75, TMP175 and LM75B variants
The TI TMP75/TMP175 and the NXP LM75B share the TMP105 register map and
control semantics, differing only in a few details. Model them as
variants of the TMP105, parameterised by a small per-type class
descriptor covering the fault-queue depths, the writable config bits,
the converter resolution, the set-point masks and the TMP75's
alert-clear on thermostat-mode change.

The variant is class data, not migrated state, so the wire format is
unchanged and all variants share the existing vmstate.

While here, align the shared shutdown handling with the hardware:
entering shutdown now clears the ALERT/OS output in interrupt mode,
correcting the base TMP105 as well.

Emmanuel Blot e083274a4a hw/sensor: tmp105: enforce the configurable fault queue
The fault-queue depth selected in the configuration register was decoded
but never consulted, so the ALERT pin tripped on the very first
out-of-limit conversion regardless of the programmed depth.

Track the consecutive-fault count and only change the ALERT state once
it reaches the programmed depth; any in-range conversion clears the
count. The default configuration keeps the previous behaviour. The count
is migrated through an optional subsection so existing streams stay
compatible.

Emmanuel Blot 3ec7b43bb0 hw/sensor: tmp105: implement Resettable reset
Previously the device reset routine was invoked once from realize() and
never registered with the reset subsystem, so a system or bus reset left
the TMP105 registers untouched. Convert tmp105_reset() into a proper
Resettable hold phase (tmp105_reset_hold) registered through
ResettableClass::phases.hold, and drop the manual call from realize() as
the reset framework now drives it. This matches the scheme used by the
other hw/sensor I2C devices.

The TMP105State struct, its cast macro and typedef are used only within
tmp105.c. Move them out of the public header into the source file and
drop the now-unused includes; the header is reduced to the TYPE_TMP105

Klaus Jensen a78e9839ae hw/i2c: add asynchronous send
Add an asynchronous version of i2c_send() that requires the slave to
explicitly acknowledge on the bus with i2c_ack().

The current master must use the new i2c_start_send_async() to indicate
that it wants to do an asynchronous transfer. This allows the i2c core
to check if the target slave supports this or not. This approach relies
on adding a new enum i2c_event member, which is why a bunch of other
devices needs changes in their event handling switches.

Peter Maydell b5bf5a53d1 Kconfig: Add I2C_DEVICES device group
Currently there is no way for a board model's Kconfig stanza to
say "I have an i2c bus which the user can plug an i2c device into,
build all the free-standing i2c devices". The Kconfig mechanism
for this is the "device group". Add an I2C_DEVICES group along
the same lines as the existing PCI_DEVICES. Simple free-standing
i2c devices which a user might plausibly want to be able to
plug in on the QEMU commandline should have
   default y if I2C_DEVICES
and board models which have an i2c bus that is user-accessible
should use
   imply I2C_DEVICES
to cause those pluggable devices to be built.

In this commit we mark only a fairly conservative set of i2c devices
as belonging to the I2C_DEVICES group: the simple sensors and RTCs
(not including PMBus devices or devices which need GPIO lines to be
connected).

Kevin Townsend 4fd1ebb105 hw/sensor: Add lsm303dlhc magnetometer device
This commit adds emulation of the magnetometer on the LSM303DLHC.
It allows the magnetometer's X, Y and Z outputs to be set via the
mag-x, mag-y and mag-z properties, as well as the 12-bit
temperature output via the temperature property. Sensor can be
enabled with 'CONFIG_LSM303DLHC_MAG=y'.

Joel Stanley 46560cb105 hw/misc: Add Infineon DPS310 sensor model
This contains some hardcoded register values that were obtained from the
hardware after reading the temperature.

It does enough to test the Linux kernel driver. The FIFO mode, IRQs and
operation modes other than the default as used by Linux are not modelled.

Titus Rwantare 7215456a4f hw/misc: add MAX34451 device
The MAX34451 is a Maxim power-supply system manager that can monitor up to 16 voltage rails or currents. It also contains a temperature sensor and supports up to four external temperature sensors.

This commit adds support for interfacing with it, and setting limits on the supported sensors.
