Add a root .editorconfig enforcing trim_trailing_whitespace and insert_final_newline, with editorconfig-checker to verify compliance. Fix all existing violations and update autostart tests to match the corrected template files. Fixes #4581 Signed-off-by: Jan Dubois <jan.dubois@suse.com>
