The MCP models and drivers in tests/tla were a 14 Oct snapshot. They now match the MCP code: the refused refresh token is never sent again, a disconnect answers a waiting tool list, and the byte budget and the exit reaper have models of their own. The next-version gating is gone, so engine_lab builds against src/mcp and its scenarios run. The host model said the status line shows a server count when nothing needs attention. It now says nothing about MCP then, as fx does, and the host-lifecycle tests expect that. CI gets a job that runs each MCP model's smoke config, the host models, and both MCP drivers, and Build & Test requires it. The planted bugs stay a local check.
